Specifically, what was witnessed today in our Computer Lab were 5 students among 20 others taking the same test who after taking their exam in Blackboard, could not submit their exam, which forced us to capture screen shots of each exam, print out, and give to the Instructor to grade by hand. Not acceptable...

I have (unwisely) edited a test that was already deployed because a number of students couldn't see an image embedded in one of the questions . I solved this by adding an additional link to the image, but left everything else (e.g. marks available etc) as it was before. They are allowed to save answers...

While Blackboard Learn has some nice features, one thing it seems to completely lack is the ability to ask multiple short answer questions. For example, if I wish to ask students to list the four seasons (in any order), without presenting the responses as "fill in the blank" in a sentence format...

Christine, Did you ever get this resolved? We might be having the same problems with students in one of our courses. When I log in as a student (and Instructor) I can see the images on/off campus in all the major browsers. However, I think the entire class is experiencing problems not seeing the browser...
