With things like this it is helpful to quote the file size and type (I assume zip but not sure what angel exports as) As Michael has said there are internal but resettable file size limits in Blackboard that can only be changed by a systems administrator and to change ISS settings server access is also required. When it comes to what students can upload

As the other reply says there is no facility as described but there is a building block that allows an instructor to create a test student account for themselves which they can use to enrol on their own courses to test features from a student perspective I cant remember what it Is called but have seen it in the building blocks catalogue

5mb is not particularly big as far as blackboard is concerned though it depends on what tool on blackboard is being used to upload the file. If the error message in red is what you are getting then that looks like an error of a different type - I would suggest contacting your colleges technical support people

you probably allowed your phone to remember your login. the quick way to fix this is uninstall and re-install the product and make sure you do not tick remember my details when you login. I am guessing there must also be a way to simply logout and do this but i couldnt be bothered to do it and just re-installed

There has never to my knowledge been a print function built in discussion boards which shows that the concept of them being printed out has probably never been considered. I find this sort of issue with many web pages because of the way that web browsers will (on a frames page) only include what you can see on screen. It is I understand Blackoard's

This sounds as if something has been set incorrectly in the content area settings. It could be that instructors have not been given full access to the CS - if you have view access but cannot upload this sounds possible. The other possibillity is that they may have left some default quota on which has already been exceeded. What happens when you try

The other answer given is quite right. The biggest mistake people usually make when trying to link to anything in Blackboard is that they go to the page they want to link to and then grab the URL from the URL bar in their browser. That doesnt work! You have to find a hyperlink that leads to the place you want to link to and copy that link location.

It sounds as if you might be trying to use the ipone app on the ipad - there is an HD version for iPad available in the app store

are you a member of staff - if you are then I suspect you are tying to add a widget to a page. You will need to grab the code for the widget and paste it into HTML view in the create item text box (access HTML with the <> in the toolbar) and save It will be a case of trial and error - some widgets work and some don't, it depends on how they

yes Paige is probably right, our students do this all the time an it is one of the most ANNOYING Blackboard features ever causing us hunrdreds of support calls from both staff and students. Apparently it gets even worse in SP8 using the new 2012 style becasuse here there is no little (almost invisible)button and you have to move the mouse to the left
