What I am finding, however, is that email is only sent if this checkbox is checked. I.e., it is not possible to delay the sending of email until the Display After date and time which is what I would expect to happen if the checkbox were not checked. Is this how it is suppose to work or is there something wrong with our server or configuration? Thanks

Mike: You're right. I checked out the grade center as a student and the override indicator does not show up. However, something rather strange does appear and perhaps this is what my instructor is counting on. The score that shows up when the student enters My Grades is the overriden score. I have an instructor who told me she thinks the grade center override behavior changed between 9.1 and 9.0. I'm not really sure and, of course, since we are on 9.1 SP7 HF1 I can't check it out any longer. What the instructor said is different is that previously she could override grades for discussion board forums and assignments by typing a
