Rhonda, Actually, there is an app already; it's name is Blackboard Mobile Learn (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blackboard-mobile-learn/id364252826?mt=8). Not all schools that use ANGEL have enabled it, but I just checked Gwinnett Tech and they do appear to have it turned on. It is quite new on the ANGEL platform and a bit rough around the edges

Lacey, What browser is the student using? I've seen this issue with the newly release Internet Explorer 9, and it's also a common problem on browsers on mobile devices such as iPads. For that matter it could also be a problem if using Safari or Chrome as their browser. Firefox really seems to work the best with ANGEL (in my opinion) but Internet

Benjamin, We are currently using ANGEL 7.4 but I believe this also works with 7.3. If you go to the Utilities link for the assessment (Submissions link for 7.4) there should be a link for Grade Submissions. From this page you can then view all of the submissions for short answer and essay questions on one page. There is a spot to grade each and add

Most likely all you need to have done is add the pkt mime type to the ANGEL web server. By default Windows web servers only allow the downloading of known file extensions. You can upload them, but then if you try to download it's usually some sort of "file not found" error page that comes up. The zip option works because the web server

Linda, I've been hunting for the answer to this but can't find anything. It was actually news to me that the Task icons did not display with too many courses. They show on my account with 50 courses, but I checked another one with hundreds of courses and just as you say, no task icons. I'm fairly sure it's not the number of characters

I believe the default settings for an assessment are to "allow save", which puts a "Save and continue later" button at the bottom of the assessment next to the submit button. When a student clicks that button, it saves all of their answers and takes them back to the start page, but now the button for them says "Resume"

Ok got it. I don't think there is anything to configure to allow this. However, depending on HOW a student views their grades they will get links. With the normal grade report that a student gets to with the My Grades link or by going to Reports, Grades, Student Grades, they will not get links. However, if the student instead goes to Reports, Learner

Michele, Can you describe more what you are trying to accomplish? Is your intention that when students view their grades, they can click on the title of the assignment and be taken somewhere? If so, are you talking about linking to a piece of content in the course or to an external web site? Rick

Hi Sue, I found a KB article on how to do this and am putting it below. If you've never used Environmental Variables or the Automation tab the steps may seem a bit foreign. Let me know if you have trouble following them and I can make a quick Jing video of the process to show you. Rick Description : How can I give the students a visual cue that

Mark, I don't have access to 7.3 right now and it's been a couple of years since we moved to 7.4 But.... I think where you need to look is in the permissions area. I don't think you'll be able to remove them for Administrators, but for system editors where you define their permissions is where I'd look to take away rights related
