I created a quiz in Blackboard. Students have all taken the quiz. But I just now realized the I created the quiz as a "Test," when I should have created it as an "Assignment." Ugh! How do I re-classify a test as an assignment?

How do I get a "student view" of grades? My college used to let me use a "dummy student," but they won't do that any more. I need to make sure that there are no errors or confusing info when students look at grades.

How do I set up my Announcements page so that new announcements are sent as text messages (as well as posted on the Announcements page, and sent as emails)?

Eric, "behind.blackboard.com" is for administrators. I am not an administrator. I am a lowly instructor. Is there URL where an instructor can submit a bug report? Thanks, Joe

Hello, What is the URL to submit a bug report? (My bug is that when students begin an assessment, Blackboard assigns a grade of 0%, which screws up the student's grades.) Joe Harris

Blackboard will let you post an MP3 as a podcast. (At least it used to. It won't now, ever since my institution upgraded, and my institution's Blackboard administrator went on hiatus. Perhaps you will have better luck.) I used to create my podcasts as MP3, then post as podcast. It was a beautiful workflow. One of the great things about the podcast

Post your podcasts as podcasts. Students will be able to download the podcasts. I used to be able to post podcasts, and they worked beautifully, but there was some sort of upgrade. Now my institution has "Camps Pack Podcast." The darn thing won't install. The Blackboard administrator at my institution is retiring at the end of this semester

Mike, OMG! That is so bizarre that you were able to download and save the file, especially since you do not have access to my course. But that is fine. Enjoy the music! Yes, the files is only 19 seconds long. I figured out how to download the file. I navigate to the URL where the file is located, then choose File>Save Page As, and select "MP3

Mike, Sorry, no can do. In order to prevent students from downloading copyrighted materials, I had to post the MP3 files as streaming audio. No one (not even me) can right-click and save the file. Here is the URL for the file: https://blackboard.matcmadison.edu/@@4E9CC2EB5D65E3C4B4B25EA65A6E76BA/courses/1/42127_1114/content/_2356760_1/embedded/Salve

Is it possible to download MP3 files that I have uploaded and embedded BlackBoard? If so, how?
