Hi Mike, Here are the answers to your question from my instructor: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I view student answers by accessing two different ways, 1. Accessing through needs grading 2. Accessing through full grade center, then going to the column for the quiz, then selecting a specific student’s score, of icon Regardless

Hi Mike, Thanks for your quick response. The paragraph brakes do not stick in student answers . The answers look like a long string of words. I have a screen shot, but I can't paste it here... Students write their answers directly into the answer boxes, they are instructed not to paste from Word. Of course, they would be using different browsers

How can one avoid that answers all run into each other because the line breaks don't hold. Students forget that they should use the work around and make a paragraph break and space bar click to make the line break stick. One can't very well ask students to go into the html source code to fix things while they're taking an exam! Any other

Hi Mike, No, it's "items", "Announcements", everything. We also tried it out on another computer in the office. Same story. I didn't pay attention as to the browser etc. on that machine. But this makes me think that your suggestion about different themes and css styles might be the clue. Thanks again, Ilse

Hi Mike, Sure, I use IE 8 with Windows 9 or the newest Firefox. I just can't get line brakes to "stick". This is what it looks like in preview or after submitting versus text editor: paragraph_space.png.aspx I uploaded a png file to the file folder. I'm not sure whether this will work for you. Even if I add an additional paragraph

Steve, Mike, I have the same problem with line brakes in the text editor showing but not in the text after submitting or in preview mode. I agree, fixing it in the source code every time is not an efficient option. Importing from Word seems to work better, but I'm not sure whether it is consistent. I first encountered the problem when I tried to

Mike, It worked! I had to set YouTube to allow sharing. Dah! Thanks for your help. Ilse

Thanks Mike, That makes sense. I'll try with another setting. Ilse

Mike, Do you have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks, Ilse
