Paige, where do we locate the building block you referred to? I don't see it on the Blackboard extensions site. -Joseph

A faculty member on our campus has asked for an explanation as to why the rubric tool will not allow you to edit a rubric after it has been associated and used for assignments. In the example he provided he was wanting to correct a typo in the rubric so there was not confusion for the students. Does anyone know or have a link to information on why this

We are running 9.1 SP6 When faculty copy a development course over to a section created by our import process from our SIS (Banner) the course duration settings (start and end date) that the faculty may or may not have set on the development section overwrite those duration settings we have applied to the live section. Default settings on new development

A picture is worth a thousand words! Take a look. This is what I provided Blackboard Support. I was told just today this is a "known" problem now and the workaround was to (within Customization/Style) to "Permit Both Views." We're already doing that and still see the issue. Joseph

I've reported this issue through to support and they've been looking into it for a few weeks now. Has anyone else run into this problem? ******* Many of our users are running IE 9.0. IE exhibits problems on course module pages that are created. Not always but without any discernible pattern, modules will simple not appear. See the attached image

So far as I can tell from looking over help docs an instructor and student have no ability to receive a new message notification when using the messages tool. Anyone have any experience otherwise? It seems a common requirement that an instructor would want to be notified when new messages have been sent to him or her either in a module or another area

Think I found more info. Being tracked apparently in the known issues list...looks like a known bug. The issue only appears in PDF files in learning modules. Tested and found a PDF was fine on a content page. FYI 5627 AS-162698 Course Delivery Course Content Management Content & Content Delivery PDF files do not display correctly within Learning

The response I received from support stated essentially what has been said above by Paige and Corrie. There is now an enhancement request in to at the very least allow instructors to keep their own name in. That might work now if an instructors is working on a development section and only has their section enrolled. One thing we don't know right

Is anyone seeing an issue in SP6 when users have Adobe Acrobat X installed and only half of the pdf an instructor places within a course is viewable. What we see in both firefox and IE is a view where the PDF shows up but we simply see white space in the lower portion of the area where normally we would see a full pdf opened within the frame. Joseph

Okay, I may need to do that. This issue appears to have been in existence well befoe SP6 so I'm surprised to see that it is still an issue. All our discussion boards in all sections that are copied have the instructor name replaced with "anonymous". Joseph
