Session switching - same session_id used by multiple users

We're aware of a very few incidents for our Blackboard AS v.8 Learning System in which one or both of two users at different locations "become" the other user -- they see a different person's name wherever Blackboard displays your name, and they see links to the other user's courses...

I have been playing with it, and I have discovered that Chrome WILL display the VTBE if you have the IETab.net extension installed in Chrome. Basically, this extension allows Chrome to render pages with an IE rendering engine, effectively fooling the web page into behaving as if it were being accessed...
