I have (unwisely) edited a test that was already deployed because a number of students couldn't see an image embedded in one of the questions . I solved this by adding an additional link to the image, but left everything else (e.g. marks available etc) as it was before. They are allowed to save answers...

Christine, Did you ever get this resolved? We might be having the same problems with students in one of our courses. When I log in as a student (and Instructor) I can see the images on/off campus in all the major browsers. However, I think the entire class is experiencing problems not seeing the browser...

We have a situation where a test pool has thousands of questions. What we would like to be able to do is find out which questions are associated to which tests. The only way we can see do this is to edit each test and at the top of the test question Blackboard will tell you if the question is associated...

Has there been any development in item analysis since the last post in this thread a year or so ago? We are particularly interested in the ability to report on students within a particular quartile in terms of their overall test result (e.g. the top or bottom 25%) who get a question right or wrong. I have encountered several instructors who have built (several) surveys but then found they wanted complete user data and should have used a test. I can find no way to copy questions from a survey into a test or a pool so they can rebuild the survey as a test. Download upload into a pool does not work...
