Announcements say "unavailable"

Why are the announcements I have created marked "unavailable"? I am using Bb 9.1. 90132.0 I have tried Date Restrictions, No Date Restrictions, but the message on the Announcement remains: "Item is not available." I can see the title of the Announcement when I log in as a student...
