Modify user name

We are running Learn 9.1 SP8. Is there a way to modify / change the user name on an account?

When students take a test, they mark their answer and then click save. As a result a "answer saved" popup appears that they must click ok on before they can go to the next question. Is there a way to turn this answer saved popup off?
