I am new to this forum, so apologize if this has been addressed before. I would like to use the Calculated Formula question type so that students can work problems that are quantitatively different than their "neighbor." However, many of the questions I want to ask have multiple parts, all based on the same set of variables. Is there a way to first give information about the set of questions, including the quantitative variables, and then ask a series of calculated formula questions, each with its own calculated answer?
Thanks for your help!
Roger,
No, you cannot share the same set of generated variables between multiple calculated formula questions.

I came looking for this same thing. It's a pretty strong limitation in BbL that it can't do this. Alternately, can a calculated formula question have multiple answers? For instance, when asking students to calculate a confidence interval the answer is actually two numbers.
