I am trying to copy materials into a new course site, from course site A to course site B without all user enrollments. Course site A contains various items includes gradable Discussion Board, Journal, Blog & Wiki. After a course copy from course site A, I start to enrol new batch of students in to course site B but I notice that after this new batch students submitted the Discussion Board/Blogs/Journals/Wiki, "Attempt In Progress" instead of "Needs Marking" status are indicated in the Grade center.

I knew that currently there is a known issue "Needs Grading checkbox setting clears on course copy", this is similiar to my case but the different is the "Needs Grading" status after every 1 Posts" option is still CHECKED in course site B.

Fyi, my current Bb version is 9.1 SP 7 HF 1

Any workaround for this?

Thanks & Regards.

Was the "Show needs grading status after every 1 posts" set before or after the students made their submissions?  That setting starts counting after being turned on, so things posted before that would not trigger the "Needs Marking" indicator.

Also, there is another known issue (https://blackboard.secure.force.com/btbb_KnownIssueArticleView?Id=50170000000Wgl4AAC&RecordType=01270000000HiowAAC) affecting SP7HF1 that prevents discussion board posts from switching the display from "In progress" to "Needs grading", but I haven't seen that behavior myself.
