While using an Ipad, I can not type into the text box on Bb Learn without turning off the text editor. The text box throws me back to the very top of the page with each keystroke. Same thing happens when I try to enter grades in grade center. Any solutions ? Thanks.

Are you using the iPad Blackboard mobile app, or just connecting to Blackboard through Safari? Safari on the iPad is not really a supported client platform for Blackboard Learn--see the list of supported clients and browsers at http://kb.blackboard.com/display/IDSR/Student+and+Faculty+Support+Resource+Center
Many things may still work fine even on unsupported platforms, but I don't think the iPad can properly run the Java applets that make up the text editor and the grade center.

Michael is right Kathy, use the application base of Bb Learn from the App Store, accessing on the the iPad default browser will not work.

It's sort of annoying to read these posts and discover that the responders do not respond to the question. If I understand the question, the person can't enter grades in grade book using the iPad. So you respond to use the BB App. I downloaded the BB App, paid $2 to activate it only to discover the professor cannot do anything with the App except look at stuff s/he really does not need to look at. The App is only good for students unless there is something I can't see or there is some feature that is hidden from sight.
You are right, the app is primarily designed for students, and does not provide any instructor access to the grade center. But if you'll notice, the original poster did not specify whether she was using the app or Safari on the iPad, which was why I specifically asked...
