I have a SCORM package from an outside company.  It is in my computer files. I have tried to load the ZIP as a file  (to keep it all together) into Content Collection, from there I went into my course and used the Build Content - Content Package (SCORM) function. I then see a page that looks like one quiz is being built called Cumulative Review. 1st problem is that there are many quizzes in the package, so 1 called Cumulative Review, is not sufficient. Second when I click on that "quiz" it opens in a new page and I receive an Error 404 - not found.  I have tried uploading the ZIP as a package to be unzipped when it arrives, but then I can't figure out how to make the assessment since I have multiple modules (good) but no specific file to click for the assessment?? Not sure what I should be looking for.

Does anyone have a clue about this? It's a medical terminology package that worked in Vista/CT which is what we are switching from.  I have also just emailed the company but thought I'd check here as well.

THANKS!

I should add that the students have to complete these for a grade that we hope will show up in the grade book. Haven't gotten that far yet since i can't find the quizzes.

Lorrie,

I haven't worked much with SCORM packages, but it looks like your school is running Blackboard 9.1 Service Pack 6, so you should be using the new SCORM player that Blackboard added with that version.  So, you should be able upload your SCORM module using your first method (Build Content > Content Package (SCORM)", and you should be able to get a report on the details of the students' interactions with the SCORM module, including test results, by looking under "Control Panel > Evaluation > SCORM Reports".

My understanding is that, by default, if you make a SCORM object graded in Blackboard, it sets up a Grade Center column with one overall (called a "rollup") grade for the SCORM module.  You can "Edit SCORM Player Behavior" to access the 'SCORM Player Advanced Options", then look at the "Rudimentary Rollup" settings to decide exactly how scores from multiple tests (SCOs) within the SCORM module are combined to get a single end result.

Have a look at the "How to Add Content Packages to Use the Content Player" section in the help (http://help.blackboard.com/instructor/Content/_instructor_content/instructor_content_build_content.htm?SearchType=Stem&Highlight=SCORM) for more details on the options, both for rolling up the scores and for module navigation.
