Hi this is a duplicate message because the last one didn't display properly.

We are currently using Blackboard 9.1 SP8 and want to create our own course themes if possibleinstead of choosing the current themes available. through Control Panel, Customisation,  Teaching Style, Select Course Theme.

When I go to System Admin Brands and Themes,  Theme and Pallette Catalogue I only see:

bbClassic

Bb Learn 2008

BbLearn 2012 etc.

Can you tell me where we can edit/create/store our own course themes.?

Carol,

System themes are not the same as course themes.  I asked about this when we were first looking at SP8, and I was told that there was currently no capability for institutions to create new course themes or customize existing course themes in SP8.  I think it may be slated for a future release, but I do not know that for sure.

HI Carol

you can edit an existing theme by editing the css files directly on the server docs folder , but how to add a new item to this list of course themes , i didn't dig in deep about that but I'm sure it is there in some tables in DB

Regards
