I wish blackboard would support more browsers because in both my browsers (Google chrome and safari) when ever i go to post something to a discussion board the tools to change the font color, font size, add a picture etc. don't show up causing me to write the post in html.

Another annoying thing is that when you hit the enter key when writing a blog post and your curser is not it the text entry field it automatically submits the post.  I think it should save it or at least give you a dialogue box/pop-up to ask you what you want to do or just as fine with me the enter key could just do nothing.

Hi Tilden,

The most recent versions of Blackboard support many of the latest browsers.  Here is a link to more information about browser support: http://kb.blackboard.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=72810639

That said, it can be that your college hasn't yet upgraded to the latest version of Blackboard.  I know at our school we are getting ready to pilot the latest release of Blackboard which is service pack 8.

Hope that helps a little,

Eric
