I opened a Word document that a professor had posted on Blackboard and began editing it. I then saved it only by hitting "control S" and forgot to Save As. I closed out of the document before I realized this. Where is my document saved? Is it accessible?

You can try searching your "temp" folder on your computer to see if the document still resides there. Typically when you open a file from the internet it places a copy there, but there have been certain instances in my case where the file is also deleted when closed out, and other times that the file will still remain there.
You can also try re-entering Word and going to Open->Recent and see if it is listed in its location on your computer.
