Hi! I am an instructor using Bb 9.1 and we've had the hardest time with announcements. We use alot of the functionality to include images, embed videos, etc for our students and actually use the announcements as a major way to teach.

Anyway, I have a fellow instructor that keeps getting a popup asking users to re-enter their login credentials. Clicking cancel makes the window go away and you can continue to navigate in the course, but every time the user wants to go to a new page, the popup comes back. Very frustrating.

I asked our tech person and he said that something in the announcements was causing this problem. He didn't have any suggestions as to what that might be and said that we could just wipe all the announcements and it would fix the problem. I'm wondering if he is right, and if so, what in the code could be causing this problem. Also, why does it happen if the user isn't even on the announcement screen? It happen in the Grade Center, messages, everywhere.

Thanks for any help!

Natalie - I would check announcements for text that was copied from Word or another website (including a previous Bb course). When copying like this it is very easy to pick up the underlying code which can produce some unwanted scenarios; which is what this sounds like.
