Does anybody have any experience with configuring BB Drive utilizing the Mass Update? I am pulling my hair out here. I have gone through and attempted multiple times and keep getting the same results.

I have used the /au switch from a command line to replace the xdconfig_customer.xml within the installer. But after installing the application and running it, I get the following window titled "Unable to load configuration data" with the following message: "The configuration file that Blackboard Drive is attempting to use is invalid or corrupted. Please notify your system administrator."

I have modified all three .xml files: xdconfig_customer.xml, update-info.xml, and admin-config.xml. I have placed all three of these files on a publicly accessible web site. I have configured the update-info.xml file to be pointing to the admin-config.xml for retrieval of settings. Version numbers match in both the xdconfig_customer.xml and update-info.xml files.

If anybody has any experience with this I would appreciate any insight or suggestions that could be offered. I have contacted Blackboard Support, but they have not been very helpful. The only thing they have done is provide me with the documentation, which I already have. I read somewhere in the documentation that the above error usually has to do with invalid version numbers or a problem with the executable. I have downloaded the software a second time, and confirmed that was not the issue.

This is an error in the code of either the update-info file template.  There's a space in one of the tags.  If you delete the space it should clear it up.  If not I would have to see all 3 files in order to tell you where your problem is.  Also you have to make sure wherever you put the info and admin files it has to have public read rights.

I looked at the 3 xml files, and could not locate a tag that included a space in it. Below are links to the three xml files that I am currently using.

Thanks,
