I am building my first test in Blackboard and would like to include a question that refers to a diagam.  The students are being asked to identify two items on the diagram (so this is really a short answer question).

Does one of the question types allow the attachment of a JPEG or PDF file that the students can pop up when they come to the question?

You can add images to several file types, but must first enable a setting to allow this. Here are some instructions: http://cfcc.edu/dl/Faculty_Resources/tutorials/test_add_image.html

After doing this, you will see the icon to allow image or file attachments.

I tried this method and I am still not seeing the images.

When I uploaded a test file with image, it is still not showing after checking the boxes that says that the images should be shown.

How are you uploading a file with an image? If it isn't a Bb test file, you'll need to manually upload the image after the questions have been imported into Blackboard.

Thanks for the response...

For the questions that I made, I manually uploaded the images... and still I couldn't see the images...

The imported BB questions, I re-uploaded my test bank and I couldn't see it at all... last week when I tested it, the images can be viewed...

Thanks, Liz

I followed the instructions and was able to add a JPEG right into the question.
