We are running Blackboard 9.1 Enterprise (upgrading to 9.5 this summer) on Server 2008 R2 on a dual server setup (app on one, db on the other). We are looking for a Best Practices guide on server maintenance. Things like keeping the server log files down, files to backup, tasks to schedule, etc. I've found bits and pieces on a few difference articles, but I wanted to see if anyone has some official documents as well as some things they do to keep things running smoothly. Please include when you do these things if they are once a semester items. Thanks!
Adam,
There's a maintenance guide for Blackboard under Windows Server 2008 at http://kb.blackboard.com/display/KB/Windows+2008+Maintenance+Guide.
It's also worth checking out the performance tuning manual, which also includes some best practices for maintenance, at http://kb.blackboard.com/display/KB/Windows+2008+Performance+Guide.

Toni,
Behind the Blackboard has been moved to a new hosting service and completely reorganized since that link was posted. Look at the 9.1 Perfomance Optimization Guide which is available at https://blackboard.secure.force.com/btbb_ProductDocArticleView?Id=50170000000WXuTAAW&RecordType=01270000000HiozAAC
