I am having trouble posting on the discussion forum. The spaces between paragraphs are there when it is typed or copied and pasted and are present in "preview" mode. But once posted all spaces are removed and there are no longer paragraphs. Blackboard is WebCT Campus Edition version 6. I have not had this problem in the past with previous posts or with version 4. I have tried typing both in the regular format and in "HTML enabled". I have also tried typing in a word document and then copying and pasting both in the regular format and in "HTML". Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you for your time.

HTML ignores spacing except within the preformatted element. The paragraph element <p> is needed at the start and </p> at the end to tell the web browsers where to apply the correct spacing.

Using the HTML Creator should avoid this problem.

Turning off the HTML enabled option should also solve it.
