I want to be able to color code empty or nulled grades for students who have not completed or turned in an assignment.  I know I can put a zero in the blank to see this BUT that requires me to input the "0".  I was wondering if anyone knew how to color code an empty cell by simply setting up the Grading Color Codes section.

Aric,

Since the criteria for color coding are limited to grading status ("in progress", "needs grading" and "exempt") or a percentage range for the grade, I don't think there's a way to color code for items that have not been submitted.  If you want to make the items with no submission or grade stand out in the grade center, I think you have to do the reverse--apply colors to all the items that have grades, so the ones with empty cells are the only ones that are still white.
