When students get their grade reports, the scores seem to be randomly placed. I have arranged my grade book to group papers, tests and other scores but the order of the grade book columns are not the same order that students see.
In Vista 4/8 there are several tabs in the grade book. The "View All" tab will actually arrange both the student and instructors view of the column order. Hope this helps!
