In the WebCt email tab

While creating a message I want to use HTML Creator to add a hotlink. The first time I did it, it worked fine (gave me the content browser pop-up and showed the existing message in the little message window part).

Now, when I click Enable HTML Creator , the pop-up window still appears, but the text I've already typed is not there (that little portion of the window is empty) and upon clicking the insert link icon NOTHING HAPPENS!

I'm using a new iMac and whatever version of Safari came with it (I'm assuming the latest because my computer is only a couple of weeks old to me).

Thanks for any help

Hi Linda,

Try going to Applications->Utilities->Java Preferences->Network and "Delete Files..." to clear the Java cache. This will force a download of fresh copy of the HTML Creator Java applet.

Another options is to go to My Blackboard->My Settings->My Tool Options and enable "HTML Creator: Start the HTML Creator by default" so the HTML Creator is available before you start entering a message.

Cheers,

Bob
