Can a Main Course Site be created in BB Vista 8 which can have other course sections related to it? For example

 Main Course: Sociology 101

Section 1  Section 2    Section 3  Section 4

Thanks

Hi,

Contact your Blackboard Vista Administrator and ask them about "cross-listing" your course.

In Bb Vista 4-8/CE 6-8, cross-listing is a process of linking "child sections" together into a "parent section". To the student, in My Blackboard, it looks like they are enrolled in a particular section, such as "Sociology 101 -Section 2" but when they click on the course link, they are sent into the "parent" course.  For the instructor of the course, they see the "parent course section" with all the content and the enrollments from all child courses, in your example, students from all four sections of the Soc 101 course.

Cheers,

Bob
