Angel 8.0 System check

Hi,

We recently upgraded our LMS system from Angel 7.4 to Angel 8.0. The main reason we upgraded was to keep our system up to date and browser comparability. Unfortunately, system check for 8.0 in Safari display "This is not a supported browser. Please use Internet Explorer or Firefox". I opened a case with Blackboard and i was informed to use third party site to fix the issue.

Does anybody have the new System check for Angel 8.0?

ANGEL Nuggets

Hello,

I am currently using ANGEL 8.0, and I am using the Institutional Resources Nuggets as a nugget for student to be able to access HTML links to all our campuses resources. However, I would like to know if students are really using this nugget. I know there is a query to see the number of student who have the item on their course page but I would like to know how many click on items in the nugget. Is it possible to find that out with a query?

Printing exam submissions for review

Suppose you have an essay within an angel assessment submitted by a student. Is there any way for a faculty member to print out that essay response for an individual or in batch from a bunch of students to review as opposed to viewing on the screen? Or is there any way to edit the essay and submit suggested changes back to the student?

Making assignments clickable links in the gradebook

I would like to know how I can make the assignment title a clickable link in the gradebook. The user guide references clickable links in the "How Students Can See tTheir Grades," but does not indicate how you make an assignment title a clickable linke.

Random questions

I would like to have module quizzes generated using random questions from the question bank. I would like students to be able to take the quiz multiple times but not get the sames ones repeatedly. Is there a way to do this?

7.3 point value for items on assessments

We are working with an assessment in 7.3. It involves 26 questions. 25 are worht 2 points each, while 1 which is an essay, is worth 50. Under the questions bank manager this all looks great, but when we try to view grades under utilities for that specific test, everything is given a value of 3.8. Is there a fix for this or does the instructor have to change the point value per questions while they are grading the test?

Additional Points for Written Assignments

Each semester I have my students complete four written assignments; each is worth 250 points. Sometimes I receive an outstanding submission that I feel is worth more then 250 points.

Even though the maximum score is 250 points, I feel that there should be a way to assign extra points without creating an additional column for extra points.
