Joe,

I tried this on an orientation course that we have with 4500 students, and got the same result. However, I could successfully generate reports by selecting a small subset of the users, rather than running it for all 4500. I couldn't do batches larger than a couple hundred students, though. I'm not sure what the underlying database queries look like, but they don't seem to be optimized for large numbers of students.

I have a course with 3500 enrolled students, and when i try to generate one of the standard course activty reports, the system just hangs there, saying it's generating and then eventually times out.

with such a large cohort, is it simply not possible to generate activity reports on content easily? I've tried to do the same on specific pieces of content, and encountered the same issue.

Any advice greatly welcomed and thank given in advance.
