I believe the person to contact is Richard Glover. (R.Glover@tees.ac.uk ). I have emailed Richard about it but haven't heard anything yet.

I've also now been told of a building block developed by Teeside University here in the UK (e@t RSS Feeds) http://eat.tees.ac.uk/ which works on 9.1

Re: RSS feed tool for 9.1?

Hi Roger,

Yes, we were also using the U Cincinnati RSS feed building block on our BB8 server, but it seems to be very old and not very well maintained. I'm a bit surprised, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any other building blocks to include RSS feeds as content items.

One approach might be to embed a javascript or flash widget to display RSS into your content item. There are instructions for using Google gadgets for creating a js RSS widget at http://www.labnol.org/internet/tools/embed-rss-feeds-add-html-websites-javascript/2515/ that might be worth a try, but I really haven't experimented with them at all.

In 9.0 we have used the RSS Content building block developed by the
University of Cincinnati, but this doesn't seem to work in 9.1.
