I am a student, When I click the link "discussion Board" on the left it takes me to the page where you can see the required posts you have to complete, but where is the link that will let you see all the posted responses together. For CIT 120 Mr. Dvorak online course. Please reply to hjp421@excite.com

Cannot log on to my course, HELP

I have signed onto blackboard and my course is up, but I cannot log into it. Everytime I click on my course it says "this section is not available yet". Please help me as soon as possible because I dont know what to do! Thank you.

My course disappeared

I've been enrolled and active in a course through George Brown College, and when I logged into my Blackboard Learn account it says I'm not enrolled in any courses. Who do I contact to get this fixed? I can't see any contact information on Blackboard's site. I've e-mailed the school, in case it's something on their end. I no longer have the instructor's contact information because Blackboard won't let me access it since I'm not "enrolled" in the course!

Not allow assignment submission

I have an assignment open and when i hit the "browse my computer" to attach a file and then click the file i want to upload, the new window closes but it does not attach the file. I have done this multiple times and still nothing. It will also not let me hit the submit, save, or cancel buttons. After I press those, nothing happens. I just remain on the assignment's screen.

Problem with post

Hi,

I recently submitted a Discussion Board assignment to a professor. When she clicked on it, the page was blank. I saw the words of the assignment before I hit the Submit button.

What could have caused this? Are there technical glitches? Was there incompatibility with the Office Document file when I did a cut and paste to the Board?

Report Card Still Showing Old Courses

My Report Card module is still showing courses and grades from classes I took last year. I have old courses hidden on the Course List, but for some reason that's not affecting the Report Card. Is there any way to delete or hide the old courses? It's a little frustrating to have to pick my current grades out from among my old ones.

java and virtual classroom

Every time I open the virtual classroom java comes up and tells me to install. I have installed and restarted so many times I have lost count. I don't have any pop ups blocked. When I check if it is installed it sends me back to reinstall it. Then once its installed a message comes up that it is already installed do I want to reinstall it......I say yes and go through the whole thing again and still no success.....I am totally at the end of my tether!!!!!

My modules are no longer loading

I am able to access and having no troubles with BB from my tablet, as well as my iphone, but BB modules (classes, anouncements) are not loading on my laptop. I have been using the same browser (firefox) for 3 years now and about 2 weeks ago my modules quit loading. I have contacted my school's tech support and they suggested I check to make sure Microsoft and Java were updated, they were, but still no modules. They had no more suggestions. I checked to make sure that all the settings were correct in BB and that my laptop allows pop ups from BB. I am just baffled. I hope you can help.

Upload Roster Photos

Is there currently a way for students to upload their own photos to appear on course rosters? It appears that the avatar photos that students are able to upload are separate and do not show up on course rosters. Is that the case? If so, is there any way to enable students to upload photos to appear on course rosters as well, or do those photos have to be input directly by a system administrator?

Modules missing

Hello,

I am having difficulty accessing my classes on BB on chrome. I have also tried on IE but am still unable to load any of the classes. It will just show an announcement page for that particular class. I can access the courses on my ipad and iphone but not on a computer. I was told to make sure I had java and just updated that but I still am not able to see any of my assignments/discussion boards etc. I have email notifications set up so when a new discussion post was made I am notified and if I click on the link in the email it will take me to the discussions page and I can navigate through that but I can not pull up any documents or assignments.

Is there anything else I might be able to try to get those to show up?

Not seeing all announcements

I am not able to see announcements from one of my classes. I get all the other classes and I got the announcements for this class up until April 25th. The announcements show up on the home page but when I click them I can only see the old ones.

URGENT: Assignment submission error

On April 20th at 1153 I had an error occur in submission of a quiz for one of my classes. More than half of my answers were not recorded and submitted. Additionally the elapsed time for the assignment was 22 out of 20 minutes. This seems to indicate some sort of system or connection error. I need confirmation of such an error occurring before my instructor will re-open the quiz. The semester is ending soon and I could really use some help resolving this. I'm not even sure if this is the right place to bring such an issue.

SafeAssignment from 4/23 - no results

I submitted a paper to SafeAssignment on 4/23. To date it has not received a score. I have resubmitted but have been told it might take 48 hours for a result. Is there a way to get a score on the original submission? The paper is due soon and I am running out of time to make any changes needed. TIA

Hi, I am currently enrolled in an online course that requires to do a post on three different days. A discussion from about 3 weeks ago was finally graded and it said I had only done 1 when I know I had done at least the minimum 3. My teacher told me to contact you and see what can be done. I want to know what happened to my posts because I do not want my grade to suffer, Help needed, thanks.

Okay, so I log into blackboard and can't see any of my current courses in that module. I went to settings to see if something got messed up, but my current classes don't show there either. I called the support at my school and they said it was out of their control. I can't access anything for my classes right now and I'm a little freaked out. :/

Notifications Dashboard - Edit Notification Settings doesn't work - version 9.1

When I open the Edit Notification Settings (either in the Bulk Notifications or the Individual ) I see 3 columns - Dashboard, Email, Mobile. by default only the Dashboard and Mobile are marked. When I change it to add some email notifications and press submit I get the screen asking me if I want to overwrite the notifications. I press Ok. When I go again into the notification settings I see nothing is changed and none of my changes took effect. I tried on IE 8, FireFox 13 on Windows 7 64 bit, and on IE 8, FireFox 13 on Mac OS X 10.7.

Does anyone face the same issue?

In a few of my classes we have to regularly turn in discussion board assignments, unfortunately after I turned my work in, I never double checked to make sure my assignments were submitted, and when I went to check my grades a couple of them were lower than I expected.. My assignments weren't being submitted on blackboard and now that I have a new computer they are being submitted. I need help, I don't want to fail :(
