Our institution just upgraded to Blackboard 9.1. Previously, the old system (not sure what version it was) would forward mails sent to me via Blackboard to a personal e-mail that I set up. With Blackboard 9.1 Mail, my school e-mail is used by default to send/receive e-mails--how can I change this?
Others have the same issue with mail being sent to outdated e-mail accounts they no longer check.. Maybe even some who do not have access to these e-mail accounts that were used by default, as they have not been receiving mass e-mails that have been sent out.

If your school allows you to change your email address inside of Blackboard, you will be able to do it by clicking on the "My Places" link at the top of the screen, then selecting "Personal Information > Edit Personal Information" and look for the email field.
If that option isn't available, you'll need to contact the help desk at your school and see if there's some other option for setting a preferred email address in Blackboard.
