Good Morning,

If the institution has decided to use the SEnd Email function as opposed to the interal course mail, are there any logs that faculty can go back and look at to see emails that they have sent through Blackboard?

THanks,

Katrina

Katrina,

By "internal course mail", do you mean the "messages" tool?  That's not really email.  It's just messages stored locally.

If the instructor sends email out from Blackboard, Blackboard just sends the on to the mail server and does not store a copy of it--Blackboard is not an email reader or an email client.  The instructor should be getting a copy sent to their email address of all the emails that they sent from Blackboard, though.

Yes, that's what I mean.  Thanks, I just needed to know if it kept a copy of the emails.
