Is it possible to download an existing course theme, customize it and then load it back and made it available in that list where all the course themes are available to instructors to choose from? Thanks!

I asked Blackboard about creating new course themes or customizing existing themes when we first started demoing SP8, and was told that it's not currently possible.

it is possible to do that , you can edit the css files directly on the server , you can find them in docs folder, play with them as you want
