Importing TestGen package into BB 9.1- Fatal Error Message

We are receiving an error message; The provided file could not be identified as a supported package format and there fore can not be processed. 

Steps to Import TestGen package are as follows:

Downloading a package from Pearson Higher Ed in the BB files format

In BB, we tried importing to both test and pools area.

Resulting in this fatal error: The provided file could not be identified as a supported package format and there fore can not be processed. 

Please help :)

What TestGen version are you using?

Also, if you're downloading the file from Pearson, it would be worthwhile looking in the file to see if it actually has multiple tests or pools and contains separate individual .zip files for each test or pool.

No, it doesn't contain separate zip files.  Inside the zip file that we downloaded, it contains several .dat files. Also, a graphic folder.

It's possible that the file you have is a complete course package rather than an exported test or pool.  You might try importing it under Control Panel > Packages and Utilities > Import Package.  If that doesn't work, you'll need to consult with Pearson and find out what the process is for importing their content.
