We have a professor who wants to add a pre-test at the beginning of the program and the same test at the end of the program (potentially 2-3 years later) and compare the results.

Is there any way to do this? Perhaps generate a document that could be attached to the students' admission files?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Lynne,

It's not all that difficult to give the same test in two different courses.  All you need to do is copy the test from one course to the other.

However, it may be tougher to ensure that all students are enrolled in the same courses at both the beginning and the end of the program, and it's also difficult to compare results across multiple classes.  Perhaps a simpler way to do it would be to set up a special course (or organization, if you have the Community system) for all the students in the program, and use that to administer the test at both the beginning and the end of the program.  That would make it easy to compare results of the pre- and post-test.

Thank you!

Actually some of my coworkers are in a meeting today to discuss the implementation plan for BB Community and Content. I'll pass this suggestion along to them.

Perfect timing!
