Where can I find information regardning Open Standards Content Player?
Christer,
I'm not aware of a whole lot of documentation about it. What sort of information are you looking for?
Mike
Just what kind of formats it supports.
The original Open Standards Content Player supports IMS, NLN, SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 content types. Starting in version 9.1 Service Pack 6, there is also a new player from Rustici for SCORM types 1.2 and 2004, which should be much more rubust than the original content player.
Hi again. How do I know witch player I´m using? If I have BB SP6 are we using the new player?
We are using this SCORM Engine buildingblock 2011.7.1128 and we are using the Open Standards Content Player 2004.3.6.

You have both players installed on your system, as do most schools that have upgraded from a previous version. "SCORM Engine" is the new one, and "Open Standards Content Player" is the old one.
To see which one you're actually using for SCORM content, look at the URLs for links to your SCORM content. Links that use the new player will look something like "http://[our server]/ webapps/scor-scormengine-BBLEARN/....", but if you are using the old Open Standards player, they will look like "http://[our server]/ webapps/bb-cntplayer-bb_bb60/....". Also, when you create/edit a SCORM item that uses the new player, you will see an "Advanced Options" section, and if you set "Edit SCORM player behavior" to "Yes" in that section, you will see lots of menu options for setting Navigational Control, Launch Behavior, Compatibility Settings, and so forth.
