Ours is Blackboard Release 9.1.60230.0 and this happens with Firefox (10.0.2). I did not see any problem with IE8 or Chrome.The issue is with typing text into a text field, and it occurs when a student attempts to answer an essay question. When Blackboard starts auto-saving, it interrupts student typing and forces the cursor back to the beginning of the answer box messing up the text the student is entering. I told the student to type into a Word processor and copy-and-paste in to the answer box, or switch to IE or Chrome.Is there any way to turn off “auto-saving” feature for an essay question, or a better solution?Thanks...
