How do I get a "student view" of grades?  My college used to let me use a "dummy student," but they won't do that any more.  I need to make sure that there are no errors or confusing info when students look at grades.

Joe - getting an actual student account is the only way to see the student view of the My Grades tool. Our school added the "Add Test Student" building block which allows instructors to enroll/unenroll a Test Student account in any course. Using the building block tool takes the work off of the administrator to get it set up. It is a great tool and solved this issue for us.

Paige, where do we locate the building block you referred to?  I don't see it on the Blackboard extensions site.

Joseph,

The "Add Test Student" building block, along with a lot of other cool building blocks, power links, and other projects, is available on OSCELOT (http://projects.oscelot.org ).   The "Add Test Student" building block is at http://projects.oscelot.org/gf/project/addteststudent/
