in Bb 9.1 SP 8 the help area looks like the following:
Is it possible to adapt this area to our needs (e.g. link "video tutorials" or "contact support" to our individual support page)? How?

Hi Jochen,
I believe you change those settings by editing the language pack, specifically the documentation.properties file. It looks like the link used in "Blackboard Help" is stored in the documentation.href.cp_online_manual value, and the one used for "Video Tutorials" is in documentation.href.portal_module.getting_started. However, you need to copy the existing language pack in order to customize it, I think--you can't edit the ones that ship with Blackboard.
The email address listed under "Contact Support" is set in under Admin Panel > Help > Local Support Contact.

i took this screenshot from coursesites; we plan to update in july/august
what am i wanting? ... i would like to optimise the help/support for our instructors. and the help area within each bb-course seems to be a good place for "first aid". as we need german content , i would like to link the help areas like "getting startet" or "video tutorials" or ... to our existing help pages.
any idea whether this is possible? is the language pack (probosal of mike) the best/only way to do that?
Hi Jochen - I think Mike is correct with the language pack edits. I was thinking you were wanting to change the help on the course menu; not the control panel.
Let us know if the language pack edit doesn't do the trick.
