Hello-
We have a student who needs more time to complete her test due to physical impairment. How can I set just her time limit to 90 minutes and leave the rest of the class at 60 minutes?
Alex - what version are you on? Do you have the option to auto submit a test? If this option isn't turned on, the instructor won't have to do anything as Bb will allow the student to go over the time. The student will end up with the needs grading icon in the grade center since they went over the time limit.
If you do have the auto submit option and it is turned on, the only other option is to duplicate the test, set the correct time and use adaptive release to release it to the student.
Now for the grading part. If you set up a second test, I would also suggest that in the grade center you create a total calculated total adding up the 2 test columns (each student will only have a grade in one) and then hiding the original test fields from students and using this new cal total for the tests in the total grade for the course. If you don't do this, students will see both test columns in the grade center. Another option would be a manual option...hide the duplicated test column from students and manually transfer the grade from the dup column and enter into the column that is open for students to see.
hope this helps,
