Writing response to post, saved as draft but was asked to re-log in. All data lost?

I spent hours 2 am to 6:30 am writing a response to a post. saved as draft and was redirected to login. I did and there is no draft saved, can not go back in explorer to see what I wrote. Anyway to find data???????

It's *possible* that if you click your browser's Back button, you *might* recover the text, but it's not likely.  Most Blackboard installations automatically log users out after two hours of inactivity (and just typing in a text field looks like inactivity to the server, since  no data is going back and forth).  In addition, some versino of Blackboard have a known issue where Save As Draft doesn't work.

It's *always* a good idea to write lengthy responses in a simple word processor such as Notepad and save a copy on your hard drive.

thanks I tried back instantly with no result. Maybe stored in memory still somewhere?

Sadly, probably not.  That's why you want to write lengthy replies in a word processor and save a local copy.  It's happened to me; I understand exactly how you feel.
