Hi,
My FGC Blackboard is acting up. Whenever I go to edit my Personal Information such as my address, phone number, and such, I type it all in and click Submit, but it always comes up with an error screen. Even when I don't type anything in and click Submit it comes up and says:

Stephanie - we don't have access to your institutions Blackboard server. They may have it set up where this information comes from the student information system and cannot be changed. You will need to check with your school's Blackboard support to see if there is a problem or if this is how they have it set up.

Contact the IT Help Desk at your school and let them know. This can happen sometimes if some of the routine database maintenance doesn't work correctly on the database server that Blackboard uses. The admin will have to do some cleanup on the database. (This is happening on my server right now, so it's sometimes a bit slow to get resolved.)
