I added a custom link to the Course Menu. However, it will not file the file I want to link to. The file was uploaded with File Manager. I attempted to copy/paste the HREF of the file into the URL box in the Edit Custom Link dialogue, but that does not work either. How do I get the correct url for the file? Thank you!

I just tried to do this using a file in the file manager and was also unsuccessful.
I did find this workaround.I moved the file to the Public Files folder in the File manager. I then clicked on the action link menu to copy the URL location.
I thne added the full url and it looks like it works. for example the URL location was
webct/RelativeResourceManager/Template/Public Files/m1_01_intro.html
I added the beginning of the url as
https://your server name.edu/webct/RelativeResourceManager/Template/Public Files/m1_01_intro.html
Try this out and see if it works for you.
