As an administrator of Blackboard (in training) I am trying to find out if there is a report I can run for specific users to find out when they last logged in. I have found some generic reports, but they seem to only give numbers of logins and such. I also found that I can look up when users access content in a specific class, but whenever I try to run a report in a class, I get an error like this one:

Error

Content

Report engine fails to initialize html emitter, please make sure required libraries for this emitter are installed.

For reference, the Error ID is 7e45b6b9-bcf9-439e-aee7-cf030fedc71e.

I'm not entirely sure what that means and I haven't been able to find any info on it.

Blackboard 9.1 running on Windows Server 2008 R2. Client is Windows 7 on IE 8.

adam,

There is no report you can run that will tell you when specific users logged in, but if you have access to query the database directly, you can look at the user.last_login_date field to get that information.

As for the problem you're describing when trying to generate reports, we got the same error and submitted a ticket, and Blackboard tech support thought it was the same issue as AS-146122, though the error message is not quite the same.  We had to restart the services to get rid of the message, but we haven't seen it since upgrading to SP4.
