Hi, I'm a multimedia programmer from the University of North Texas.  I have a Flash interaction that is getting and putting scorm variables.  Upon finishing the interaction the teacher should be able to view their students gradebook and see data like: time to complete, grade, answer choices, correct answers, student feedback, etc... the teacher SHOULD be able to view any of the information that SCORM can take and report...  Here is a run-time reference of SCORM variables: http://scorm.com/scorm-explained/technical-scorm/run-time/run-time-reference/

Blackboard by default is displaying the SCORM grade and the time taken as well as the status of the interaction (passed/failed/incomplete) within the gradebook, but I want to see more information such as student feedback, student answers choices, etc...

How do I alter the gradebook to display this information?

Thanks,

Matt Dorsey

Matt,

You can't alter the gradebook to display additional SCORM information, at least not currently.  Just because a variable is stored in a SCORM module does not necessarily mean that all those variables are passed to the Blackboard grade center.  Have a look at some of the earlier threads on SCORM within Blackboard, such as http://discussions.blackboard.com/forums/p/49497/151569.aspx#151569

I've heard that Blackboard is planning to replace the existing SCORM implementation in a future service pack for 9.1, but I don't know what additional functionality that will allow.

Mike
