After our update to 9.1 SP3 on 18 Dec our ability to Export, Acrchive, or Course Copy is not working any longer. Error messagfe say the Data in the course can not be persisted and no package is created or completed. Anyone know why this is happening?
Jim,
I haven't seen that problem on my 9.1SP3 server. What version did you upgrade from? Do you have the content system? Do you have problems with any other course operations that require saving files? Were there any errors during the upgrade?

I am just an instructor not a system admin. i believe we upraded from version 9.0. We do not have the content system. I have not tried other operations that save files yet - just trying to get new courses setup from existing old courses. Not sure if they had any errors during the upgrade. My wife also teaches and her account is doing the same thing. I called our tech support and they said they were escalating it to the engineer at level 2 support.
We upgraded to 9.1 in the spring and then to 9.1 SP 3 over the Christmas Break. With the initial 9.1 upgrade when classes were copied the files didn't go and there were a number of other issues when using Course copy. Now, course copy was supposed to have been fixed, but we are running into the same issues, although now sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it does partially. For us, Export/Import is still a valid option that seems to be working correctly. The answer we have been given is if a class was bad in the fall, it will continue to be bad and we need to recreate and then use that course copied in the future - not sure how well that will work either though.
