Does anyone know of a way to remove all my students' posts from my discussion forums in one step? At the end of the semester I would like to remove all the student data while keeping my forum questions. If I do a bulk delete of the discussion board it removes everything from the course's discussion board...I don't want this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of a way to remove all entries from all forums as once, but you can go in to each one and remove all the posts at once.

Yes, I'm doing that  - but with several groups and several discussion boards for each group it is fast becoming tedious - I feel like the man from St Ives!

A 'delete all posts' function would be useful to apply to the whole Blackboard course so that I can retain my boards but without last year's posts.
