I logged in to my blackboard user account in order to take my quiz. When i clicked on the start button the page indicated that i had two attempts and zero completed. As soon as the first question appeared my blackboard account logged out. So, i signed back in and returned to the quiz page; it was now indicating that i had 1 Attempt remaining. Upset as i was, i pushed start for the second time and again the page logged me out. I had no attempts left. I rechecked the page this morning and it said i had 2 attempts left and 0 completed. This is a retarded situation to be in.

Hi Shant,

First, you will need to contact your instructor to reset the quiz. Only instructors can reset or adjust the settings of a Blackboard quiz or test.

Next, are you on a wireless connection? Depending on the settings of the Blackboard test, a momentary dropout, common with wireless connections, will appear to the Blackboard server as if you had quit the test and logged out. When taking a test, try using a wired network connection whenever possible.

Cheers,

Bob
