Each semester I have my students complete four written assignments; each is worth 250 points. Sometimes I receive an outstanding submission that I feel is worth more then 250 points.
Even though the maximum score is 250 points, I feel that there should be a way to assign extra points without creating an additional column for extra points.

The ANGEL Gradebook allows for points to be awarded above and beyond the maximum you set up for an assignment. So for instance if you want to give 275 points on an assignment worth 250 that will work and essentially gives the student 25 bonus points. If you view the percent for that assignment you will see it listed as 110%.
